Day 1: Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park
This trip took us through the vast Taru desert to the nearest natinal park from mombasa. Tsavo East and our first glance was a family masai ostrich with their young ones... the area is wet following heavy rains and animals are few. we arrived at Ndololo Camp for lunch and thereafter we drove further to Man eaters camp for overnight
Day 2 : Tsavo East to Amboseli Kilima Camp
The drive was smooth along the highway to Emali and then left turn towards loitoktok where our driver showed us clear views of kilimanajaro before driving on 22 kms of rough road to our camp for lunch. Kilima Camp ist located just outside the Amboseli National Park , very nice to view large of elephants, Kilimanjaro from the rooms. afternoon game viewing in the park was rewarding as we could take lots of pictures with kilimanjaro ,,,amazing with the large herds of elephants roaming on the swamps
We had to join a convoy to Tsavo west and when aked our guide why should there be military, he said was a goverment arrangements to have all tourist buses escorted along this rough road through chylu hills onto mzima springs where we saw another natural landform, the springs, the lava and many volcanic cones allover we could look around. our lunch was at Kitana Severin Camp and finally checked in at Voyager Ziwani camp for overnight....before Dinner we were taken around on a night game drive where we saw lots of Hippos and other nocturnal animals like genet cats, Bushbabys.
Day 4 : Tsavo West to Mombasa
we had breakfast and thereafter we drove through the park to arrive at Voi wildlife for lunch and later we arrived at our beach hotel in the evening...it was a short and memorable safari with Arlom safaris....good organisation with quality services throughout.
